Egg drops are a challenge at many engineering schools though they can be found all the way down to elementary school. Students are challenged to construct a device that will transport or protect a raw egg. Traditionally the egg (in the device) is dropped from a height of several stories and success is judged in whether or not the egg breaks. Below are some links relating to various egg drop challenges.
